Lacrosse has always been more than a game. It has the power to connect people and create real impact far beyond the field. In the face of loss, members of the lacrosse community often step up to turn pain into purpose.

Ryan’s Team was created by Mike Oliver after the heartbreaking loss of his son, Ryan Oliver, who passed away by suicide at just 14 years old. What began as a personal mission has grown into a foundation focused on promoting positive mental health, suicide prevention, and hope for anyone who needs support.

This past week, Ryan’s Team hosted its annual fundraising lacrosse tournament, bringing the community together once again in Ryan’s memory. During Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re honored to highlight the important work Ryan’s Team is doing to support young people and families.

If you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out. Help is available, and no one has to face these challenges alone.

Together, we can continue to support one another and make sure every young person knows they are not alone. 💙
