The One Love Foundation was created in memory of Yeardley Love, a UVA lacrosse player whose life was tragically cut short due to an abusive relationship. Yeardley’s story is a heartbreaking reminder of how crucial it is to recognize the warning signs of dating and domestic abuse.
One Love’s mission is to educate and empower people to identify unhealthy relationship behaviors and take action before it’s too late. Through their resources and programs, they are working to create a world where everyone understands what healthy love looks like—and what to do if they or someone they know is in an unsafe situation.
