The sport of lacrosse has touched the lives of many, both on and off the field. Beyond the game itself, the lacrosse community has come together in powerful ways to support those in need. From tragedy, inspiring organizations have been born—dedicated to making a difference and providing critical support.

One such organization is 15 for Life, founded in memory of Rob Kavovit, a former Yorktown and Syracuse lacrosse player. Rob’s passing was a heartbreaking loss, but his legacy now lives on through this foundation, which strives to offer hope and help to those struggling with depression and suicidal thoughts.

This Mental Health Awareness Month, we recognize the importance of speaking up, checking in on those around us, and ensuring that no one feels alone in their struggles. If you or someone you know needs support, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
